Established in 1978, Madhusudan Organics Pvt. Ltd. (MOL) is one of India's largest importers of Viscosity Grade (VG) bitumen, supplying VG10, VG30 and VG40 in new steel drums (150kg, 156kg and 180kg) and bulk road tankers to infrastructure companies, road contractors and industrial buyers across India. MOL is also the distributor of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for MTO, Hexane, Low Sulphur Heavy Stock (LSHS) and Furnace Oil in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Assam, and manufactures Diesel Exhaust Fluid (AUS32) meeting ISO 22241 standards.
Located in Kolkata, we have an installed production capacity of over 7,200 KL per annum and a storage capacity in excess of 500KL. Currently we are manufacturing various grades of Middle Distillates including Ink Oil, Aluminium Rolling Oil, Paint Solvents, Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO), Mixed Xylene, Specialty Oils, White Oils, Light Liquid Paraffin, Rubber Processing Oils, Industrial Oils for Lubricants and Bituminous products.

Products
Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO), Paint Solvents or White spirit also known mineral spirits or, generically, "paint thinner", is a petroleum-derived clear liquid used as a common organic solvent in paints. It is a mixture of aliphatic, open-chain or alicyclic C7 to C12 hydrocarbons. Commonly known as MTO, Paint solvents are the most widely used solvent in the paint industry. It is primarily used as a cleaning solvent, as a degreasing solvent and as a solvent in paints, varnishes, and asphalt products.
Bitumen is used in construction: primarily as a constituent of products used in paving and roofing applications.

We are amongst the largest importers of Bitumen in India. We provide imported Bitumen grades VG 10, VG 30 and VG 40 in new steel drums as well as in road tankers across India. We also export Bitumen to Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam, Bhutan and other SouthAsian countries.
Hexane is a colourless solvent. Food grade Hexane is primarily used in the extraction of Edible Oils. This calls for very high purity levels of Hexane, followed by safe and careful storage, handling and transportation right from production to end use. It also finds usage in a limited manner in preparation of rubber adhesives, can sealing compounds etc.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is an operating fluid for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, which is used in new heavy-duty commercial vehicles. It is injected into the exhaust system to chemically reduce NOx emissions from diesel powered vehicles, non-road mobile machinery and heavy equipment.
LSHS & Furnace Oil
Low Sulphur Heavy Stock (LSHS) & Furnace oil is a dark, viscous residual fuel oil which is obtained by blending residual products from various refining processes with suitable diluents usually middle distillates to obtain the required fuel oil grades. These fuel oil grades are similar in nature and have been marketed under different specifications in various countries. In India Furnace Oil is sold under BIS specification IS 1593-1982. LSHS is sold under BIS specification IS 11489 -1985. LSHS & Furnace Oil is used as fuel for Power Generation in DG Sets, Boilers/ Furnaces/ Air preheater/ Any other Heaters and as Fuel for Bunkering, Fuel/ Feedstock in Fertilizer Plants.
